Professional accreditation for dispute resolution practitioners assessed through CACAP-delivered training courses.
The CACAP Accreditation Programme awards professional accreditation to individuals who complete CACAP training courses and demonstrate exemplary competence in dispute resolution practice. Accreditation is available across five disciplines: arbitration, mediation, expert determination, dispute board practice, and expert witness. The programme provides a recognised credential for practitioners across the Asia Pacific region, reflecting commitment to professional excellence and adherence to CACAP standards.
The accreditation framework is exclusive intellectual property of the Centre for Asian Construction Arbitration and Mediation Professionals (CACAP). All designations, certificates, and programme materials are protected under international intellectual property law.
Comprehensive accreditation for arbitrators trained in international arbitration principles and procedures, qualified to conduct arbitral proceedings.
Specialised accreditation for practitioners trained in dispute board processes, covering proactive dispute avoidance and resolution in construction and engineering projects.
Accreditation for experts qualified to provide binding or non-binding determinations on technical or specialist matters arising from disputes.
Accreditation for expert witnesses trained in the provision of independent, impartial expert evidence to tribunals, courts, and dispute resolution proceedings in construction and infrastructure matters.
Accreditation for mediators trained in collaborative problem-solving techniques, qualified to facilitate settlement negotiations in commercial and construction disputes.
Accreditation is not awarded automatically to all course participants. The CACAP accreditation designation is reserved exclusively for candidates who demonstrate an exceptional standard of competence, professional judgment, and commitment to the field of dispute resolution.
Accreditation decisions are made at the discretion of the President of CACAP, based on comprehensive recommendations from course instructors. Each accreditation certificate is issued with a unique reference number for verification and authenticity.
